Ring 8 of Eleven · The Natural Time Warp Wheel
A source does not need to be reachable by everyone to remain a source.
Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world and the traditional origin point of Inca cosmology, straddling the border of Peru and Bolivia at over 3,800 metres of elevation. Key 105's own Peruvian Pyramid of Light language anchors this Area in the source text directly.
Inca cosmology names this lake as the place the world itself began — not a place people arrived at, but the place everything else is said to have come from. A source does not need to be reachable by everyone to remain a source; it only needs to be the place the rivers, or the story, can be traced back to.
This Area is one of the Twelve registered in Book II, The Natural Time Warp Areas. See The Natural Time Warp Wheel for the full identification table.
