Two oceans meet without blending — a field, not a point.
The Cape Peninsula sits at the meeting of two ocean currents and two tectonic provinces, at the southwestern corner of the African continental shield. The prior EGA identification of this broad region as a Natural Time Warp predates this reconstruction by nearly two decades.
Sailors rounding the Cape for centuries did not fix their position by one exact coordinate; they read it from the visible seam where two currents meet without blending — the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas holding their separate character right up to the line where they touch. Two different things meeting and remaining distinguishable is what makes a place findable at all — the whole reason this Area carries the class Field Anchor rather than Point Control.
