Education for the New Age of Aquarius

Thesis Ten writes no curriculum. It offers a well of potential options — observations, proven practices, true accounts and parables — from which parents, guardians, teachers and those who shape the law may draw as they choose. Its one conviction is that every child arrives already whole: education, in its oldest sense, draws out what is already within, rather than filling an empty vessel.

It follows one child from before conception to the age of twenty-one, through four stages — before conception, the years from birth to seven, from eight to fourteen, and from fifteen to twenty-one — and through 108 Relationships drawn from four Wheels: the Nine Cosmic Laws, the Twelve Reflectors of Illumination, the Twelve Awakenings and the Twelve Threads of Guardianship. Every Module is held by one Threshold, Freedom That Frees: no new cage is to be built, each child is to be served as the one they are, and every child is to be heard.

It is written for parents and for those waiting to become parents; for adoptive, foster and kinship families; for grandparents, nursery staff, teachers and youth workers; and for anyone who sits where decisions about children are made. Following Thesis Nine, which asked how New Groups may gather in freedom, it turns to the places where every gathering first began — the homes, nurseries, classrooms and playgrounds where children first learn what it means to belong, to speak, to listen and to decide.
