Wheel Three of Thesis Ten · The Awakening of each Module

The Twelve Awakenings

Wheel 3 of 4 · from Thesis 10 — Education for the New Age of Aquarius.
Nine Laws, twelve Reflectors, twelve Awakenings and twelve Threads: within every Module, the Reflector is the light, the Awakening is the seed, the Thread is the bond and the Law is the lens.

The Twelve Awakenings — Wheel 3 of Thesis Ten, with All Is Already Within at its hub
The Twelve Awakenings — at the hub, All Is Already Within.

The twelve Awakenings are the seed of the twelve Modules. They are not needs, as if something were lacking in the child. Everything is already within; each Awakening names what is ready to be called forth at a particular season of life, and the conditions in which it awakens most naturally. Most rest on the words of the Master Djwhal Khul, and each on a Law or Posit of the Codices; the Laws named in brackets are drawn from the wider body of the Codices, beyond the Nine of Wheel One, for those who wish to follow the thread further. The first three come before the child can be met in the ordinary way, and so they name what awakens in the welcome itself: the invitation, the readiness of those who prepare, and the thread spun between them. However a child arrives, planned or unexpected, by birth, adoption, fostering or kinship care, these three may begin at any point. The hub of the Wheel is All Is Already Within.

1 · The Invitation — The Soul’s Invitation
A child is invited into life, not merely conceived. The Master Djwhal Khul spoke of parenthood “planned because intended to offer experience to incarnating souls,” and added that such conditions “cannot be imposed by law.” Many children still arrive unplanned, and some without being wanted. No child, wanted or not wanted, is ever a mistake, and the invitation may be answered by anyone who receives the child, at any time after they have come. (Posit of Periodicity; the Law of Freedom)

2 · Prepared Guardians — Guardians Prepared Before the Child Arrives
Those who will receive the child prepare themselves first. Parenthood is not to be regarded “primarily as an animal function or as a purely social or economic function,” and the young are to be prepared for it. (Chemical Affinity; Generative Guardianship, Memra 14)

3 · Thread of Light — The Thread of Light Between Parent and Child
A thread of light is spun between parent and child “even in the prenatal stages … without establishing undue mental control and authority.” (Education in the New Age; Love: As the Creative Law, the Genesis Mandate, Memra 13)

4 · Beyond Fear — Love That Casts Out Fear
The first Awakening of the young child is safety: “an atmosphere of love, wherein fear is cast out,” and “the demonstration that love does exist in the world.” (The Law of Love)

5 · Remembrance — Remembering Who They Are
The child is helped to remember who they are before the world tells them otherwise, and “to recognize himself as the one who acts, who feels and who thinks.” (Remembered Being)

6 · Awakened Senses — Patience, Wonder and the Awakened Senses
The child’s questions are met “with a quick response … never the sense of speed or hurry,” and the senses, hands and wonder are awakened through the living world. (The Law of Rhythm)

7 · Beauty and Strength — To Feel Beauty, Strength and Wisdom
Children up to fourteen “need to feel, and rightly to feel beauty, strength and wisdom” and are not expected to rationalise before their time; their creative imagination is given room. (Feminine Totality)

8 · Ordered Activity — Shared Responsibility
The child takes on real responsibilities within the group, in “an atmosphere of ordered activity,” and cooperation takes the place of competition. (The Cosmic Law of Divine Order; the Law of Opportunity)

9 · Without Guilt — Understanding Without Guilt
The reasons for a child’s actions are recognised, and no unnecessary sense of guilt is laid upon them. Consequence is understood “not as punishment but as the rhythmic education of Consciousness.” (The Law of Karma)

10 · Inner Flame — The Inner Flame of Knowing
The young person’s “mental response to truth” is drawn out, and the deeper knowing that “is not mental, nor … the product of discipline” is honoured. (The Inner Flame of Knowing, Memra 17; the Lost Octave)

11 · The Whole — The Sense of the Whole
The young person comes to know “the value of the individual and the fact of the one humanity,” and their own place within the greater Whole. (The Law of Synthesis)

12 · Striking One’s Note — Freedom to Strike One’s Note
Through a growing sense of choice and of ordered purpose, the young person finds and sounds their own note in the world. (The Cosmic Law of Freedom)
