The Organismal Application of the 108 Relationships

Thesis Eight asks what happens when the Posit of Freedom reaches the places where people decide together: groups, communities, foundations, corporations, institutions, public authorities, lawmakers, governments and international bodies. Its guiding Law is the Cosmic Law of Freedom — “No one is Free until each is Free, and all are Freeing each other.”

It is written as much for the person who chairs a residents’ association or sits on a charity board as for those whose decisions reach millions, and for the many who live with such decisions and wish to understand how they might be made with greater care. The book stands against no institution. It begins with respect for the service already given inside public and private bodies, and invites every gathering to recognise, more fully, the Life its decisions reach.

As in the earlier Theses, a council, a board or a team may choose a number between 1 and 108 together at the start of a meeting and turn to that entry. A parable may describe an organisation more kindly than expected, or leave a question that stays into the next meeting. Either is enough. Thesis Nine takes the Higher Road from here.
