Area III of Twelve · The Artificial Time Warp Wheel
Limestone islands rising from a turquoise lagoon, one archipelago read as a single field.
Book I registers the Philippines as a whole archipelago rather than a single site — more than seven thousand islands strung along the Pacific Ring of Fire, from the karst lagoons of Palawan and the Bacuit archipelago to the volcanic spine running the length of Luzon. The control point used for testing is a central reference drawn from the islands’ own bounding geography, not a claimed pyramid or temple.
It is this archipelagic character — limestone islets standing in bright, shallow water — that the Wheel’s third circle depicts: a turquoise lagoon ringed by karst towers, evoking the look of El Nido or Coron rather than any one named place, since the source itself names the Area as a whole geography rather than a point.
