Satellite II of Twelve · Denali, Alaska
The tall one — the highest ground in North America, and Arkansas's second confirmed cross-over with the Ascension Gates.
Long before any surveyor's name reached this peak, the Koyukon people who have lived in its shadow for centuries called it simply Deenaalee — the tall one. Denali's summit stands 20,310 feet above sea level, the highest point in North America, a granite pluton forced upward some sixty million years ago and still being shaped by glacier and frost.
In 2015, after decades carrying an imposed name with no connection to the mountain, the United States federal government formally restored the name the Koyukon Athabascan people had used continuously for generations. This same peak is independently named the Thunderbird Ascension Gate — the second of Arkansas's three confirmed cross-overs, two separately maintained maps of the sacred arriving at the same mountain by different roads.
From the Sun Disc's ground in Arkansas, this Satellite sits to the north-northwest, deep into the subarctic — the second-most distant point in the whole field of twelve.
